MAP Pricing stands for Minimum Advertised Price and is a policy we fully support and enforce with our resellers.  The reason we do this is because it ensures that you MAKE MONEY when you sell our products and don't get under-cut by other local retailers and online stores.

The MAP price for each of our products is provided with every shipment we send you and is the minimum price you can advertise and sell our products for.  You are more than welcome to sell our products for higher than the MAP price.   Many retailers, especially those on the East Coast, sell our products for $1-$2 higher than MAP price to recoup their extra shipping charges.

In-House Discounting by retailers is something that is very difficult for us to monitor and enforce.   Frankly, there is no need to discount our products since you will not be competing with lower prices on the Internet.  Lowering your prices simply reduces your profit on each sale.

Volume Discounts

Instead of offering price discounts based on volume, each shipment of Reef Nutrition that goes to a retailer comes with an automatic discount in the form of free store-use product.  We feel that offering store-use product will yield a better benefit to you in the long run because your animals will be healthier, and your customers will see you feeding with our products, and ask about them and purchase them.
