Tigger-Pods
|
Refrigerate at 38-42 F |
6-8 weeks with the cap open.
5-10 days with the cap closed. |
TIGGERS NEED OXYGEN. When you first received them:
- Remove the cap
- Remove the liner,
- Put the cap back
- POP the top open.
This allows the bottle to "breath" and oxygenates the water. Product in the refrigerator should always have the cap cracked up.
You can put a bottle of Tiggers on display at your counter during the day. If it gets really warm in your store we recomend that you leave the cap cracked open. At the end of the day please crack the cap open and put them back in the refrigerator.
Do Not Feed The Tiggers. Sounds like the zoo. They do not need food while they are hibernating in your refrigerator, and adding algae fouls the water. When you put them in your reef system, add lots of Phyto-Feast everyday to feed them.

Best Storage
- On the Macro-Feast display unit, where they get good light and are at room temperature
Good Storage
- On a counter where they are getting good light, at room temperature
- In a refrigerator at the bottom where they are getting NO LIGHT
Poor Storage
- In the light and cold, for example on the top shelf of the Reef Nutrition refrigerator. If the Fuzzies get light they try to grow, but they can't grow in the cold so they die.
They should not be stored near a window where they may be exposed to direct sunlight. This creates too much heats and light and will cause them to die quickly.
Customers should immediately add some to their tank when they get home, then store them in the refrigerator as indicated on the label.
Once the safety seal is removed FuzzyPhytes must be stored in a dark refrigerator. They will go bad very quickly in the presence of light or warmth once the seal has been removed.
